This is Haruna Shiratori from International Affairs Office.
Together with Midori, I am in charge of incoming exchange students.
Thank you all for sending your application forms, and now we are preparing documents for Selecting Committee as well as visa documents.
1. Visa application
Today, I would like to introduce another member, Yumeko Sakurai (Ms.) to join us to start arranging necessary documents for your visa application (COE).
She will start contacting you to confirm various information or request missing documents. Please kindly follow up with her as soon as possible.
2. Schedule
Early July Acceptance Letter and the Information Packet will be e-mailed to each applicant
End July Residence Hall online application period
Early August COE will be mailed to host institutions (Estimated due to Immigration Burea schedule)
September 5 Exchange students moving-in day
<IMPORTANT>
* After you receive your acceptance letter, you will receive the Information Packet that include various procedures for visa (COE) application, accommodation, and detailed orientation schedule. * Since your acceptance will not be officially confirmed until you receive our Acceptance Letter and the Information Packet, please DO NOT BOOK your flights.
* Your visa (COE) will be mailed out to your home institutions around the early August. Due to summer holiday season, please make sure to coordinate picking up or receiving your COE with your coordinators.
