The 20th anniversary of the Japanese web site

Officially, today, March 24, 2016, marks the 20th anniversary of the Japanese HP: http://buna.yorku.ca/. When I look back, I remember we have gone through many changes, improvements, and adding more materials incrementally in tandem with the development of IT. I am very pleased to know that our self-study materials have been assisting learners of Japanese not only at York University, but also those in the world. As far as I know this site is the only one that offers all the materials free and accessible for 24 hours. I would like to see this site continue to evolve into the future to enhance Japanese language education further.

Thank you.

Social Night organized by JISA

Date: Friday, October 9
Time: 6pm-8:30pm
Location: Orange Snail @ Stong College

Every year new students wish to talk with the faculty members of the Japanese Program outside the classroom. This social night event was extremely successful in the past, attracting not only new students, but also senior students and those who might be interested in taking courses in the future. This is also a great opportunity to get to know students in other sections, students in the jp2000, jp3000, jp4000 and other courses.
You can bring your friends as well. Please remember that you are the main players in the program.
See you this Friday.
