Proficiency Certification

Students who have satisfied the following criteria will receive a notation of Proficiency Certification in Japanese on their transcripts. This certification may be effective in future employment or further study. 

Intermediate Proficiency Certification

Students who have acquired a grade of "B+" or higher in both AP/JP2000 6.0 and AP/JP3000 6.0.

Advanced Proficiency Certification

Students who have acquired a grade of "B+" or higher in both AP/JP3000 6.0 and AP/JP4000 6.0 or equivalent (exchange students' performance at the host institution will be applicable.)
